Top Picks for Las Vegas Spring Restaurant Week

Las Vegas is just as famous for its restaurant scene as it is its fabulous shows, pools and nightclubs. It’s a wonder, then, that it took this long for someone to come up with the idea of hosting a Spring restaurant week! The inaugural Spring Restaurant Week will be held from February 27 to March 4. The week long event has a familiar feel on how it is run – participating restaurants will offer prix fixe menus for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Prices range from $20.12 to $50.12, as determined by the restaurant.

Want to get in on the culinary action? There is a great page on the official website with the menus for all of the participating restaurants: http://helpoutdineoutlv.org/restaurants/menus

Here is our pick of the restaurant menus for a full day of  absolutely mouths watering meals:

Breakfast – Serendipity 3 at Caesars Palace, $20.12
  1. First – Choice of a mixed berry smoothie, coffee with nutmeg and cinnamon, or a Chocolaccino Frothy Cappucino with fresh whipped cream and shaved French Chocolate
  2. Second –  Several choices, including the Frozen Hot Chocolate French Toast – triple stacked french toast with strawberries, pistachio nuts, chocolate sauce and whipped cream
  3. Third – Mini cookie dough ice cream sandwich and Frrrozen Hot Chocolate Shot Sample

It’s hard to think of a better way to start your day on The Strip. Clearly a chocolate lover’s paradise here. The chocolate french toast sounds incredible. And if that isn’t enough sugar for breakfast, you get dessert! No one needs dessert with breakfast, but when it’s cookie dough ice cream, with a Frrrozen Hot Chocolate shot, we’re willing to put in the few extra minutes at the gym. Also, that shot must really be cold if it takes 3 r’s to spell Frrrozen. Enticing!

Lunch – BLT Burger at The Mirage, $20.12
  1. First – Fried Pickles with Chili Spiced Ranch
  2. Second – Butcher Burger; Pepper crusted beef patty with caramelized onions, blt sauce, apple wood smoked bacon, pepper jack, lettuce and tomato
  3. Third – S’More Cupcake.
This might not be the most daring food for restaurant week, but we know BLT Burger, and they won’t disappoint! Also, the $20 option is great for a three course lunch on The Strip and fresh burger topped with caramelized onions sounds like the perfect lunch.

Dinner – Blue Ribbon Sushi Bar & Grill at Cosmopolitan, $50.12
  1. First – Cream of Chinese Broccoli Soup or house salad
  2. Second – California Roll or Spicy Tuna Roll
  3. Third – Fried Chicken Blue Ribbon Style, Braised Pork Belly, Pan Seared Ono or Grilled Skirt Steak
  4. Fourth – Ginger Bread Pudding or Chocolate Brownie
It’s tough to go wrong with four courses inside the trendy Cosmopolitan for $50.12. With fried chicken, pan seared ono and skirt steak, it looks like there’s some nice variety to make everyone happy. And, three desserts in one day?! Without a doubt. You can’t pass up ginger bread pudding!
